RIP King of Pop

Back-to-back of MJ songs this morning...makes me wonder what had actually happened to the radio station...well, I take it as a double bonus for myself cos we don't usually get to hear MJ's song more than twice in a row...

Right after the 2nd song...came the DJ's voice...he was telling that MJ has passed away early this morning...

HAH?! What der?!

A sudden chill came and my heart did sanked a little...
And when the 3rd song being played...Heal the World...I have in fact, shed a tear or two. Cant' explain the feelings I was having...but it was rather gloomier than some other days...
Despite of the rumour of all his strange and inappropriate behavior for the past years, I have always been enjoying all of his songs and they will always be with me, always.

Remember the time...remembering Michael Jackson

Beautiful Sunday @ Father's Day

got up earlier than ever this morning...getting ready to meet up with Dad & sis
at Metropolitan Park, Kepong.

what makes me got up SO early, you may ask???
it was all because of...

'Karnival JACOBS~Walk of Life'

yup! this is the very 1st 'WALK' of my life...
it was Dad who found out about this run, so we might as well go for
a Sunday walk together.

we finished the walk not on time but who cares cos it is merely
a walk of life for FUN
guess this applies to most of them who took part
everybody was actually looking forward to the finishing line
and then hurried over to the goodies bag counter

after all those shoving & tugging, we finally got ours
and guess what they have in there?
what's more if not 'biskut' Jacobs (mostly),
an umbrella (souvenir from 'Anlene'),
and a bottle of refreshing mineral water (Spritzer)

LOL!!!

before we left the park...we hadn't forget to wish Dad a very, very,

Memories...

Heard this song from the radio the other day...
Simply brought back some memories of my teen days...
Tried to find this mp3 from the web but just couldn't found...
So I guess this should do the trick by embedding it's MV here, at least for the time being.

What a wanderful...weekend...

The weekend before really have passed by SO quickly.

Had Mom's birthday 'crab' dinner at De' Foodland with Jen, beilou, hubs and Mom, of course. A quite satified meal for me although Jen fussed about the 'cara masak' of the crabs (steamed with eggs white)...hehe...
We made it a promise not to order that 'cara' the next time we eat there.
Other than that, I guess everything was fine...

So Happy Birthday to you Mom ~ in advance...^_^
After the dinner, I went out for a drink with Donk & the rest of the gang and later hopped over to Reg's place for our 2nd round for the night.

Only Donk, Reg & myself there...the usual girls' chats and what's more...boosters... We have had a great one, I'm sure...

And guess what??? I ended back at home the next day at 8.30am.

Oh what a night!!!

Luckily hubs hadn't any complaints (relieved) and by the time I reached home, beilou was also awaken. Apart from feeling sluggish, having greeted by beilou at that moment certainly brightened up my Sat morning, especially after an unusual night last night.

Well, beilou's buddy, Lingess, finally came to school today after 2 weeks of term holidays and an extra week of sick-leave.

He was down with chicken soup...hahaha...chicken pox actually.

I saw him this morning, still with some marks on his face and I do hope that he's recovering cos otherwise it might, by any chances, be spread to his classmates...

So, I was, at the same time, worried too...

Worried that beilou might get it from there...

Well, what's more can I say?

It will come when it must come...is this how we say it? I don't know...

Doink-doink...

Haiyo! (sigh)
This morning I forgot to take beilou's school bag, again...(2nd time already)
Can you believe it....I only realised it the moment we reaches kindie...
What to do but to go back home to get it lah...it was already 8.30am by then.
While we were on our way, we saw a 'men in blue' by the roadside with a motorcyclist.
As we lives here, we know that's a very usual sight...not to say only here but almost everywhere, elsewhere.
As I thought that we were in a state of 'ok', we didn't bother much. Ok, ok, except for beilou...I must admit...he's not very keen on having the belt on (my fault...)
Well, as I thought we were 'safe'...we were actually NOT.
Gosh...when the 'men in blue' passes by our car & yet another car...only I realised that I wasn't buckled up at that time. In fact, it has been all the way from kindie...(my fault...again)
As he was in front of us, I thought we would have got out of it...but no, our 'men in blue' has the most powerful vision. Just by looking into the rear mirror on his bike, he eventually saw me without my belt on.
S**t! all I was thinking of on that moment was...I'm not gonna pay for any 'saman' issued...assuming there will be one.
I was praying (hard) that he will let me go...
And guess what? He let me off...to my surprise! And all that happened within 3 minutes time.
Quick eh?
But with what in return???
You know, I know lah...

Thus, to prevent this from happening again in future, I will again, promise to myself that I will never, ever gonna forget about that BAG...
And I even told beilou that he should be the one to take his own bag and to keep that in mind not to forget it...not even once.
Let's keep our fingers crossed...

The other day @ The Zoo

Need I say more???

We had a great trip to the Zoo Negara last Saturday (13/06/2009)
Gratitute to roku...if wasn't of her great 'proposal' & FIRM decision
that we, shall or MUST, at least visit the Zoo this time.
The last time when we were there...it was decades ago.

As this time we have beilou with us...it was altogether, in a word, FUN!
(minus the FUSS...kids)

As you can see here..beilou seemed to be enjoying
his 1st ever visit to the Zoo.
Pix on the right...we have actually asked him to 'pose' like me.
But he posed in his own way pulak...
It was even merrier after meeting with beilou's 'frens'
the giraffes and Heffalum (elephant-lah).
In fact, we went twice to the giraffes & elephants
and these shots were taken by roku.

Could be happier if we get to see the tigers, lions, kangaroos, orang utans and much, much more...

Anyway, the multi-animal show weren't too bad at all and I personally thinks that it have eventually brigthens up our visit this time.

Simply adore the sealion and the seal...love it more when they swims
and jumped highly through the hoop.
I was hoping that beilou were enjoying the show cos kids tends to get
bored easily if they stay at a same spot for too long.
If it wasn't of the jagung-in-a-cup & Cola (both his favs) we've bought earlier,
I think we might not get to finish watching the show.
Well, as quoted in roku's blog :))
.. our next trip to the zoo? well, maybe 5 years from now.... =)
Ahahahah!
Agree? no? nah...
who knows what tomorrow brings...
(I'm praying for a better one...what u say?)
^^ piku~piku ^^

Jumping back in...

Well, well, well...

School restarts today...

I was as excited as beilou...I trusted that he was excited too only that he went to bed 'quite' early last night & slept through it soundly. Hence, he got up energetically this morning which made me so, so proud of him.

But for me...OMG...tossed & turned all night.

Was I excited or actually worried? I'm confused even till now...

Worried that I might not get up on time this morning??? I think this could be it.

I noticed that hubs were already up, sharp, 7.30am this morning. Bet he wasn't sleeping well either...I know, I just know.

We reaches kindie at 8.15am, three of us together, walking beilou to his classroom.
As usual, beilou will greet his Teacher Cinta ~ Good Morning and then Teacher Cinta will ask how is he doing...

Beilou did quite well at school...as told by his teacher when I picked him from kindie this morning.
Teacher Jacinta told me that beilou is good cos he can identify all the numbers and alphabets in order and he remembers them well too.
So great to hear that from his own class teacher...somewhat rewarding, for me & for beilou, of course.
I asked beilou whether his buddies was there at school with him...
He said , " Lingess, absent. Jia Cheng, absent, Aiman, absent..."
Too bad...his best buds couldn't make it to school...on the 1st day...

Jotting(s)...

Hadn't been doing anything special for this 2-week school holiday...
In fact, beilou got no homework from kindie too...I wonder why...
Maybe I'm just feel a little of unease for him not having anything to do with 'school' for this 'long but not too long holiday'.
Well, I made him do his reading of Book 3 for the past few days just to make sure he keep in mind of what he has to do...even no school for him.

Then, there was a night when beilou reminded,
"ei, Mi, tonight 'mao' do reading ar?"...(then he went to get his Book 3 from his bag)

For the first 2 - 3 days, beilou was asking why he's not changing when I carried him into my car to send him to Mom's. I told him that he's on holiday...
'Holiday'...actually means nothing to him...but he suddenly said that his friends were also not changing into uniforms and they stayed home to watch TV just like him.
I said...Yes! That's it...everybody including Lingess (his buddy) is also at home not going to school. Hehe...

Recently, I found out that beilou were catching up with some NEW words...
All that I can say is, I'm proud...
The other day when we were watching Doraemon at home where a scene of an egg hatching and to my surprise, beilou were saying,

"Mi, see, egg-egg hatching"...
'HATCHING"...hmm...that's new...
Of course I have wondered where did he learn the word from...
And also, "CAMPING"...these words were rarely been told by myself to him...

Could it be that he took that from watching TV? Well, that was good to as he really have learnt something from his daily contact with Mickey Mouse Club House and other cartoons from Disney Channel @ Astro.

2 thumbs up for that, baby!

Heard it from the radio yesterday that one has to pass English subject to get a pass in SPM.
I do hope that my 'effort' in making sure that beilou's early exposure to English will instantly 'help' him to be ready for that...

As for the kids at home...I just coudn't say anything more.
They were switching to Mandarin for all the cartoons they watched.
Even Mickey Mouse Club House and The Pink Panther Show (we know that there weren't much of talking in Pink Panther Show_but still, they prefer that Pink Panther speaks Mandarin, if it really do talk)
Well, all the best...
